Havella began the way most good family businesses do, around a kitchen table, with a loupe, a certificate and an argument about whether a stone was worth the asking price. Between us we have spent decades in the trade: sourcing rough and polished, working with independent jewellers and workshops, and quietly placing pieces for people who did not want to walk into a showroom to do it.

We are not a jewellery shop. We are consultants. When a client comes to us with a brief, a five carat emerald cut, an anniversary eternity band, a specific watch reference, we go to our network of jewellers, cutters and trade partners and search on their behalf. Because we buy through those relationships rather than a retail supply chain, our clients regularly acquire the same certified stone for meaningfully less than a high street equivalent.

Every piece is certified, hallmarked in the UK and hand set in 18ct gold, 18ct white gold or platinum. Every valuation is explained. Every recommendation is one we would be happy to make to family, because a great many of our clients arrive by introduction from someone who already trusts us.
